前台南大學校長、大台南婦女會理事長黃秀霜今（19）日正式宣布，將參加國民黨台南市長提名初選，再戰2018年台南市長選舉。黃秀霜強調，她將全力以赴，讓台南變「藍」天。

黃秀霜19日中午在台南安平舉行「黃秀霜之友會」聯誼餐會，現場許多支持者力促她競選2018年台南市長，黃秀霜隨即也正式宣布，將參加國民黨台南市長提名初選。黃秀霜承諾一定要讓台南市「綠地」變「藍天」，她願意承擔這份責任，正式宣布參加國民黨台南市長提名初選。

黃秀霜表示，自民進黨執政以來，許多政策，如一例一休修法、年金改革，及台南市房屋稅、地價稅的調漲都令民眾感到失望，許多人都勸進她代表國民黨參選台南市長。黃秀霜也提到，2014年受國民黨徵召參選台南市長，當時時間很緊迫，雖最後失利落選，但很多人都希望她能夠繼續出來服務，而自己也沒有因此中斷，反而勤跑基層服務，更加深耕。

肯定黃秀霜表態 謝龍介盼支持者力挺

對於黃秀霜要再戰2018台南市長選舉，國民黨台南市黨部主委謝龍介則表示，台南市長選舉雖然一般認為是綠大於藍，但是國民黨一定會在台南推出自己的市長候選人。謝龍介也提到，黃秀霜願意公開表態參選台南市長是值得肯定的事，他希望黃秀霜的支持者，能將支持化為真正的行動與力量，一起幫黃秀霜贏得選戰。

藍營黨內競選聲浪湧現 高思博透露意願

而前台南市警局局長陳子敬日前也宣布將投入選戰，並成立競選總部。前行政院政務委員高思博19日也表示，如果能受黨部提名，自己願意挑戰2018台南市長選舉；高思博曾於2008年台南市第二選舉區立委選舉中，與賴清德展開激烈競爭，並以8萬2566敗於賴的8萬8172票。

黃秀霜1961年生於彰化縣伸港鄉，曾任小學教師、教育部科員、國立台北師範學院副教授、台南市婦聯會副主委，2014年黃秀霜曾代表國民黨參選台南市長，對決時任台南市長賴清德，並以26萬4536票敗於賴的71萬1557票。黃秀霜並於2015年卸下長達8年的國立台南大學校長一職。
